LIVE STREAMING & WEBCASTING IN JOHANNESBURG & GAUTENG

Showtech provides professional live streaming and webcasting for corporate events across Johannesburg, Pretoria and the wider Gauteng region — broadcast-quality streaming of conferences, AGMs, results presentations, webinars and company announcements, so your message reaches every stakeholder wherever they are.

There’s a real difference between a laptop webcam propped on a table and a produced live stream. When your CEO is presenting to shareholders, your results are going out to investors, or your conference is reaching an audience who couldn’t attend in person, the quality of the stream reflects on your organisation. We produce streams that look and sound professional — multiple cameras, clear audio, your content on screen — delivered reliably to whatever platform your audience is on.

We handle the full streaming production, from cameras and encoding to platform delivery, so your team doesn’t have to worry about the technical side of getting a clean, stable broadcast out to your audience.

What we provide for your Live Streaming Event

Multi-Camera Streaming

  • A produced stream needs more than one fixed camera. We run multi-camera setups with live switching — speaker shots, wide angles, slides and content — cut live so your remote audience watches a proper broadcast rather than a static wide shot. Single-camera setups are available too where that’s all an event needs.

Webcasting for Corporate & Formal Events

  • We webcast AGMs, financial results, investor and shareholder presentations, town halls and company announcements — the formal broadcasts where clarity, reliability and a professional look matter most. Your stakeholders see and hear the proceedings clearly, live, from anywhere.

Platform Delivery

  • We stream to the platform your audience uses — YouTube, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Vimeo or a private player — and manage the delivery so the stream reaches your viewers reliably. Public broadcast or private, password-protected audience, we set it up to suit.

Clean Audio & Content

  • A stream lives or dies on audio and content clarity. We provide proper sound for presenters and a clean feed of slides, video and graphics into the stream, so remote viewers hear every word and see every slide as intended — not a muffled camera mic and an unreadable screen.

Recording

  • Every stream is recorded cleanly for on-demand replay, internal distribution or repurposing after the event, so your broadcast keeps working once it’s over.

Reliable Connectivity

  • A stream is only as stable as its internet connection, which is the single biggest point of failure. We plan the connectivity, advise on the venue’s line, and where needed arrange a dedicated connection with backup, so your broadcast doesn’t drop at the worst moment.

Why a professional streaming partner matters

A live broadcast happens once, in real time, with your stakeholders watching. A frozen feed during the CEO’s address, audio that cuts out during a results presentation, or a stream that drops mid-AGM is public and damaging. We bring broadcast-quality equipment, experienced operators, redundant connectivity and live monitoring, so your stream stays stable and professional from start to finish. With over 20 years in corporate AV across Gauteng, we produce streams your organisation can put its name to.

    FAQ’s

What's the difference between live streaming and a hybrid event?

Live streaming broadcasts your event one-way to remote viewers who watch. A hybrid event integrates a remote audience so they can participate and interact. We do both — if you need to broadcast to an audience, streaming is the right fit; if remote attendees need to take part, that’s a hybrid event.

Can you webcast our AGM or results presentation?

Yes. We webcast AGMs, financial results, investor presentations, town halls and announcements, with the reliability and professional quality these formal broadcasts require, including clean recording for the record.

Which platforms can you stream to?

We stream to YouTube, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Vimeo, private players and others — public or password-protected — and manage the delivery to suit your audience.

    Do you provide multiple cameras?

Yes. We run multi-camera productions with live switching for a properly produced broadcast, and single-camera setups where that suits the event and budget.

    What about the internet connection?

Connectivity is the biggest risk to any stream, so we plan for it — advising on the venue’s line and, where needed, arranging a dedicated connection with backup so the broadcast stays stable.
